Black Dragon Pool Park - 5/5

Just a 15 min walk from the old town of Lijiang, we had a wonderful afternoon at Black Dragon Pool Park. It’s a well maintained park which you can walk around easily, enjoy the scenic view of Yu Long mountain, feed the fish and take in the Chinese architecture. The Longshen temple in the middle of the lake stands out which was built almost 300 years ago. if you are up for a hike you can start climbing the stairs on elephant hill to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view. We didn’t pay the entrance fee cause the phone map brought us to the other side of the park so we actually climbed elephant hill before reaching the park. it’s an almost 2 hour detour which I don’t recommend for people with walking difficulties or hot weather.
