Quzhou Longyou Grottoes | A Marvel Carved in Time

Preparation - Learn about the attraction: The attraction is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Last entry is at 4:10 pm. - Book tickets: Tickets can be purchased on the official website or online travel platforms. Adult tickets are CNY 85, and child/student/senior tickets are CNY 42. Children under 1.2 m and seniors aged 70 and over can enter for free. - Plan your transportation: If you are taking public transportation, you can take a direct bus from Quzhou Long-Distance Bus Station or take bus 8/K8 from Longyou Bus Station to the Shiku Damen stop. If you are driving, there is a parking lot at the attraction. Parking is approximately CNY 10 per hour. Route - Visit the caves in order: It is recommended to visit the caves in the order of 1-2-3-5-4. Cave 1 has fish, horse, and bird carvings on the cliff face. Cave 2 has lightning-shaped carvings. Cave 3 is deep and eerie. Cave 4 is large. Cave 5 has exquisite ancient stone carvings. - Visit nearby attractions: After visiting the grottoes, you can visit Longyou Residential Court to see ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. You can also visit Zhulin Temple to experience the peaceful religious atmosphere. Tips - Wear comfortable clothing: As you will be walking on mountain roads and inside the caves, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. - Keep warm or cool: The temperature inside the caves is around 17°C all year round. If you visit in summer, bring a jacket to keep warm. If you visit in winter, it will be warmer inside the caves. - Respect the culture and relics: Do not touch or damage the stone carvings. Do not use flash when taking photos.
