Old Thai Village surrounded by mountains

It’s called Mae Kampong, located 50 kilometers from the city center of Chiang Mai. This old city started to build 100 years ago when Locals tried to plant tea in this area. You can go by motorbike or take tour in the city center. It takes one hour to get to this Village. You will go to mountains area with nice road and beautiful forests and village. But if you go there with motorbike, make sure your motorbike is in good condition specially the brakes because the way is up and down hills. In this village, there are many places you can visit. There is temple called Wat Khantha Phueksa Temple. There many cafes you can get lunch and coffee. Some waterfalls also something great to visit.
