[Yamanashi] Just a little further to the summit! Kitadake Shoulder Hut

Kitadake is the second highest mountain in Japan. Due to its altitude, many climbers plan to spend at least one night in the mountains. There are three well-known mountain huts in the Kitadake mountain range. Kata no hut is one of them. It is located midway along one of the routes from Hirokawara, the trailhead, to the summit, and is located almost directly below the summit. It has undergone recent construction, so the building still feels new. Even if you don't stay the night, many people use it as the final base on the way to the summit.
