Phra Suea Mueang Shrine, Nakhon Si Thammarat

The Phra Suea Mueang Shrine, the provincial shrine of Nakhon Si Thammarat, and the Ta Khan Lok Shrine, the one who led Luang Pu Thuat to be ordained as a novice monk according to Nakhon Si Thammarat's local beliefs. Inside the shrine, merit-making activities are held, offering rice and drinking water, which are then donated to the foundation. This merit-making activity has been carried out by many, both Chinese and Thai. In the past, Chinese music played throughout the shrine, creating a Sukhavati-like atmosphere. It's a wonderful place for meditation, peaceful and serene. I've been there many times, and it's always a memorable experience.
