Shangri-La Nanjing is the hotel closest to Xuanwu Lake, about a 5-minute walk, and it’s also close to every attraction, with the farthest being about a 30-minute taxi ride. Another reason for choosing this hotel was to let my parents try top-level Huaiyang cuisine. Its Jiangnan Zao Chinese restaurant is the only Black Pearl two-diamond restaurant in Nanjing, which requires advance reservation. Even on non-working day lunches, it feels fully booked, but for cost performance, I recommend the Coffee Xuan buffet dinner more. They have set meals for one adult and one child, and the price is very reasonable. It’s basically an unlimited crayfish feast with lamb chops, salmon, and kebabs—feel free to enjoy. . Hotel guests can also visit the 46th-floor rooftop helipad, a popular photo spot, for free. On one side is Xuanwu Lake and Purple Mountain, and on the other is Zifeng Tower. The hotel also has an outdoor garden of about 200 square meters, perfect for kids, with a rockery and pond. When it gets hot, just come back quickly. The Jiangnan Zao Yunfu on the 42nd floor is so beautiful. While we were taking photos, the staff always smiled sincerely and helped at just the right moments, giving a feeling of meticulous care without disturbance. It was really comfortable!
