Nanning People's Park, also known as Bailong Park, is one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Ancient Yongzhou". People's Park is located in the north of Nanning City and is a famous family urban park in Nanning. The park includes the rippling Bailong Lake as well as the Memorial Hall for Chairman Mao’s Meeting with the People of All Nationalities in Guangxi, the Revolutionary Martyrs Monument and other attractions. There is a small hillside called "Wangxian Slope" in the park. Follow the 141 steps to the top of Wangxian Slope, and you can see a two-story ring castle made of huge stones. To the south of Wangxianpo is a green lake called Bailong Lake. There is a small island in the center of the lake. The Jiuqu Bridge in the west of the island and the Three-Hole Moon Bridge in the north connect the island to the lake shore, which is exquisite and full of beauty.
