Follow 'My Altay' into Northern Xinjiang! It's not just about Yili

Recently, I've been hooked on 'My Altay' and remembered my trip to Northern Xinjiang. I happened to encounter the autumn transhumance of the herdsmen in Altay, which was different from the season in the drama, but the feeling was quite similar. Northern Xinjiang is not just about Yili. This land is so vast that it takes a whole day to drive from one village to another. What I particularly remember is drinking fresh cow's milk in the Tuva village of Baihaba in Altay, the kind with cream on top that I hadn't seen for many, many years. 'The land I know is mostly a vast expanse that has only just begun to bear human activities.
