Day1: I departed from Beijing and arrived at Pingyao Ancient City High-Speed Railway Station at noon. Because Shuanglin Temple is near the high-speed railway station, it is recommended that you visit Shuanglin Temple first with your luggage, and then check in at the ancient city. I personally checked in at Home Inn, which is in the city, because it is a chain store and I am traveling alone. Day2: Wang's Grand Courtyard and Qiao's Grand Courtyard are two completely opposite courtyard views, so I chose Wang's Grand Courtyard, and Qiao's Grand Courtyard will pass by in later travels. For solo travelers, it is recommended to buy a round-trip high-speed rail ticket from 【Pingyao Ancient City Station】➡️【Lingshi East Station】 (of course, carpooling is also possible, but the time arrangement is not so reasonable and ample) to go to Wang's Grand Courtyard. You can buy a big ticket on Ctrip, and after visiting Wang's Grand Courtyard, you can take a taxi to Gypsum Mountain/Red Cliff Canyon, and Red Cliff Canyon is highly recommended, you can go to see the "small grassland", and climb to the peak. Day3: First take a taxi to Zhenguo Temple, then return to the ancient city to continue visiting the places that were not visited on the first day, so that the time and personal physical strength will be more suitable. Strongly recommend 'See Pingyao Again' in the evening, to learn some history.
