Parent-Child Choice: Nanning Shangri-La Hotel's Little Yellow Duck Themed Room

Nanning Shangri-La Hotel is the tallest hotel in Nanning and also the tallest Shangri-La Hotel in the world. I stayed in the hotel's Little Yellow Duck family themed room during the Spring Festival, and the experience was beyond expectations! The room I stayed in was on the 85th floor, offering an unparalleled view of Nanning! Located at the corner of the building and featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, the room provides a 270-degree unobstructed view of the entire Minzu Avenue, capturing the bustling beauty of the city. In the morning, you can even witness the sunrise, which is quite stunning. The family themed room is also well-prepared for children. The room is decorated with the Little Yellow Duck and Ctrip's Little Dolphin as themes, with toys, pillows, small tents, towels, mattresses, and floor mats all featuring cartoon patterns, which the kids absolutely loved The room also provides children's bathing supplies, slippers, and bathrobes. The tables are equipped with corner protectors. There's a chair placed at the entrance of the room for changing shoes, which is a thoughtful touch. There's also a small craft item in the room, not sure if it's a Spring Festival special. In addition to the family themed room, the hotel's outdoor constant temperature swimming pool is also suitable for children to play in. The hotel pool is divided into a large and a small pool, with the temperature of the small pool reaching 30 degrees. Even in February, children won't feel cold when entering the water and can have a lot of fun. Of course, there are some areas where the hotel could improve. The room has great natural light when the curtains are open, but when closed or at night, I feel the lighting in the room is a bit dim; the lighting in the family room should be brighter. The shower is located in the center of the room with a fully transparent design, but surprisingly it doesn't use frosted glass and requires a manually pulled screen for privacy, which is quite heavy and inconvenient to use. The hotel doesn't have a family fun park. The pool provides swimming rings, but the large flamingo swimming ring costs 168 yuan for half an hour... Overall, with the hotel's convenient location, the room's complete children's facilities, and the high-altitude view, I highly recommend staying here.
