I just visited this ancient town, which is beautifully scenic and sparsely populated, perfect for zoning out

Because I really like this ancient town, I decided to write a special note about it. I was truly captivated by this secluded place in the valley. The babbling stream flows through the mountains, The ancient town is built on the slopes along the riverbank, Scenic and sparsely populated, it is simple and tranquil. 📍Gaomiao Ancient Town 🚗Located in Hongya County, no admission fee required. 🌟The entire ancient town is not large, nestled against the mountain and by the water, with very distinctive architecture. There are exquisite wooden stilt houses as well as brick and wood courtyards; the commercial atmosphere of the ancient town is very low, many buildings can be seen with obvious structural deformations, and because they are uninhabited, they are used to store miscellaneous items and wood. Because it is in a valley and the climate is rainy, the whole ancient town exudes a misty moisture. Taking the kids around here, you can discover many interesting details, such as the exquisite flower windows of the stilt houses, the square courtyards, the bluestone-paved streets, the martyr's memorial hall on the cliff with red walls and green tiles, and the 'People's Bank of China' with a facade structure that looks just like a train station ticket window, all telling of a mottled sense of history. Ancient buildings with delicate modern carved glass doors and windows are now operating a new business of custom furniture; Huaxi Yuan Distillery hides the Gaomiao ancient cellar, which is said to have a hundred years of history, and the fragrance of wine permeates through most of the ancient town's streets; by the Martyr's Bridge, a tea house along the cliff has been refurbished into a dam, where you can sip a cup of flower tea with the sound of running water, and look up to a view full of greenery. This place carries a completely different pace of life and atmosphere from the city, occasionally stopping by, zoning out at the right time, and then setting off again.
