At the Huaian City Museum, you can feel the history and culture of Huaian from the exhibits. We were particularly lucky to encounter a special exhibition of the animal heads from the Old Summer Palace, which were exquisitely carved and lifelike. There was also a film about the restoration of the Old Summer Palace, which told the story of how this exquisite garden was destroyed and how the cultural relics were displaced.
