First thing that comes to mind when someone mentions Arashiyama is the famous Sagano Romantic Train. Yes. We finally got the opportunity to ride it! I strongly suggest you to get the ticket online and redeem at the station. Otherwise, you might not get the chance to ride or need to wait longer, especially at peak season. We only managed to get one way ticket and dropped at last station of sagano train (Torokko Kameoka Sta.) but no worries, there is JR line that connects it to Saga-Arashiyama Station (follow the crowd or signage to JR line) 🤣 Since you are reading, i gonna tell you that follow this: Saga-Arashiyama Station> Arashiyama Bamboo Forest ( there are shrines and eateries along the street you can drop by)> Togetsukyo Bridge> Arashiyama park> take train at Hankyu Arashiyama Station back to city. #arashiyama #sakura #hanami #kyoto #japan #sagano #romantictrain
