In the city of Blainville, within the Canadian province of Quebec, there are several extensive fruit orchards available for visitors to pay for picking, attracting many nearby residents to spend a pleasant weekend and some travelers to experience it. When we traveled to Canada last year, we followed a local friend to visit one of the fruit orchards - Jude Apple Farm. In addition to apples, there are pears and plums for picking. There are many varieties of fruits in the garden, and the garden covers a vast area. It is simply impossible to taste all the varieties in half a day. So we had to walk around as we pleased, tasting the varieties we happened to encounter. Jude Apple Farm has placed many wooden ladders next to the fruit trees in the garden to facilitate visitors to climb up to pick fruit. There is also a rest area in the garden where visitors can sit and rest or eat fruit or their own snacks when they are tired from picking. Before leaving, visitors can measure the weight of the picked fruits and pay to take them home; if they don't pick their favorite fruits, they can also buy them at the small shop at the door, which also has fresh apple juice and cider available. We bought apples, browns, apple juice and cider and later tasted it and found it super delicious!
