Pridvor by Haita Land

We stayed for three nights in a small cabin called Sihastru. It is perfect for couples and for those looking to escape the stress of the city. Here, you won't find internet or signal, but you will find amazing views and plenty of nature. It's the perfect place to forget your worries and enjoy beautiful sunsets and a night sky full of stars. Here are some tips we think might be useful: Since Sihastru is on the rougher side, you should be prepared. There is a grill and you can chop your own wood, but bring coal and paper to start the fire more quickly. We wanted to fend for ourselves, so we left some paper and a bit of lighter fluid for the next visitors. You will also find a small burner. But come with your gas reserves. We didn't find any gas stock when we arrived, but we were lucky to find one in Vatra Dornei. There is also a small fridge to store your food. The road is made of dirt and stones and is not so 'friendly', so buy your food and plenty of water in advance. You will find everything you need for cooking: forks, knives, plates, bowls, pans and pots, salt and pepper. Be patient with the shower, you are in the middle of nature after all. The water pressure comes and goes, but you do have hot water. Behind the cabin, in the forest, you can find wild berries, but be careful where you step because there are snakes. We encountered one but kept our distance. Occasionally, a man comes down from the cattle farm in the mountains and you can buy fresh cheese. It's really delicious. We loved this experience and can't wait to come back soon.
