This area is a tourist destination, so prices are quite high, but the atmosphere and menu selection here gave off a distinct "locals' vibe." The interior was clean and had the cozy atmosphere of an old-fashioned kalguksu restaurant, making it a pleasant place to stop by for breakfast. I ordered barley rice. The warm barley rice, served with side dishes, was generous and light overall. The rice itself was well-cooked, making it easy to mix, and the side dishes were home-cooked without being overly overwhelming. The flavors weren't overpowering, making it a comfortable breakfast option. The chicken kalguksu is said to be the restaurant's signature dish, but the lingering aroma of the broth from the kalguksu customers at the next table almost made me regret it. The chicken broth was so strong that I decided to try the kalguksu next time. Gwangchigi Beach and Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak are very close, making it a great place to stop by after an early morning sunrise. The prices are also quite reasonable for the area, making it a great place for a casual meal while traveling. It's a great restaurant to include in your Seongsan or Gwangchigi itinerary.
