Sulwhasoo Flagship Store, a harmony of Hanok and Western-style houses found in Bukchon

📍47 Bukchon-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul 📍Everyday 10:00-20:00 (Closed on the first Monday of every month) As a man, I'm not really interested in Sulwhasoo cosmetics, but every review praised the harmony between Hanok and Western-style houses, so I became really curious about the space. It opened as a flagship store, but the inside is really like an exhibition. They took out all the outer rooms of the Hanok and made them transparent so that you can see inside, so the space looks spacious. And I thought Sulwhasoo's way of conveying its products and images was quite effective. The Hanok section is a space that interprets Sulwhasoo's heritage and aesthetics in a modern way, and is composed of a gallery, reception room, and dressing room, and each space is equipped with products that fit the needs of the space. The Yangok section is a complex cultural space curated by Sulwhasoo, including Sulwhasoo Salon and Sulwhasoo Garden, and in addition, you can see Sulwhasoo's retail stores. The Hanok is being operated much more sensuously than the Yangok. And the feeling of the garden was so nice.
