Finally reopened: The Children's Museum at the National Museum of Korea

🤍National Museum of Korea Children's Museum 🤍When I visited around last September, it was under renovation, so I couldn't go inside. However, I made an online reservation and visited on Children's Day this year. What I found fascinating was how they incorporated Korea's cultural heritage into children's play activities. For instance, the puzzle pieces were shaped like 3D ceramic objects, which was quite impressive. Kids could arrange trees, mountains, and animals on acrylic boards, and there were plenty of other activities involving sticking, stacking, inserting, and removing objects—perfect for young children to enjoy. The museum also has convenient facilities like a restaurant, café, and convenience store, and the outdoor garden is beautiful, making it a great spot for a picnic. Another highlight is the stunning view of Namsan Mountain, which you can see quite prominently. If I were to recommend a place to a foreign friend, this would definitely be it!
