Mushrooms of Seville

Metropol Parasol is also known as The Mushroom, the wooden structure is designed by a German architect Jurgen Mayer and completed in April 2011. Its dimensions are 150 by 70 meters, and an approximate height of 26 meters, it is 850 meters 10 minutes away from Seville Cathedral. There is a tapas restaurant and space for events inside the central parasol. Under the parasols is an elevated, shady square to host events of different characters. At ground level is the Market, along with the commercial and catering spaces. The basement is the Antiquarium Museum, and the top level a lookout point, panoramic view covers most of the area like Hermandad del Valle and some of the restaurants. And also a place for visitors to relax, gather and etc.
