The main teacher educates the children about the current pest situation in Shanghai and its impact on ecology and plants, and through the 'Guess the Natural Enemies' game, they learn about the related knowledge of natural enemy species. 2⃣️After the science popularization session, teachers show the children some domestic and international pest specimens for actual observation of the pests' physiological structure. 3⃣️Then they set off for field investigations, catching insects. The children, equipped with materials, set off with the teachers into the night of Century Park for an adventure of 'Insect Wars', searching for traces of various pests and natural enemies, as well as the biological control measures actually used in the park. The teachers answered all the children's questions. 4⃣️At the designated activity location, they invite the day's 'mercenaries'—the velvet ant, to learn about its biological characteristics and the principles of controlling longhorn beetles. Under the supervision of their parents, the children release the velvet ants to fight a real 'Insect War'. 5⃣️After the 'Insect War', they return to the designated science popularization location (according to the insects' phototaxis, the teachers set up a white screen at the start and lit professional light traps). At this time, the white screen is filled with various insects🪲.
