Gankeng Ancient Town: Day and Night

Visiting Time: The ancient town of Gankeng has its unique beauty both during the day and at night. Although the free touring area is not large, it is recommended to reserve half a day for visiting. Start your tour at around 4 pm to capture the different scenes as day turns to night. Transportation: Get off at Gankeng Station on Shenzhen Metro Line 10. Once you reach the ground level, there is a bus station nearby. It takes about two to three minutes by bus to reach Gankeng Ancient Town. If you prefer walking, just head straight from the station, and it will take about ten minutes on foot. Shops: The ancient town is lined with snack shops, and there are stores selling various traditional Chinese crafts, which are quite distinctive. There are also shops where you can rent Hanfu, traditional Chinese clothing.
