The Setouchi Triennale is a unique art festival where artworks are placed all over the islands of the Setouchi region! This time we went to Shodoshima! On Shodoshima, there are buses that take you around the monuments of the art festival, but we went around in our own car! Some monuments are only accessible by foot, and there are signs showing where they are, but they are quite vague, so it's like a treasure hunt, so you can enjoy the art but also feel adventurous! lol The internet also lists what is in each area, so it's fun to go looking for what you want to see! As it is modern art, there were some things that were a bit strange, but I got a strange feeling that they blended into the island. Things outside can be viewed at any time, but some indoor and outdoor things have time limits and require an admission fee, so I recommend doing some research before going!
