Raffles Hotel Singapore - Of course, one must check out the iconic Long Bar, as well as the understated and elegant Writers Bar

This year, I stayed at the world's first Raffles Hotel Singapore, which opened in 1887. With a glorious history of 136 years, the Raffles Singapore is one of the few remaining 19th-century luxury hotels in the world, and it's also the best hotel in Singapore. Some even say: if you haven't been to Raffles Hotel, you haven't been to Singapore at all! Raffles Hotel Singapore is a paragon of the neo-Renaissance architecture, with a Victorian style - The high ceilings and the ubiquitous verandas and palm trees give the hotel a rich tropical ambiance. The hotel has undergone three phases of restoration and renewal, and after more than two years of the third restoration and upgrade, the iconic Raffles Hotel Singapore finally reopened to the public in the summer of 2019. The world's first Singapore Sling cocktail was born at the LONG BAR of Raffles Hotel Singapore in 1915. Today, due to the massive demand, the mixing of the drink has been mechanized, and I decided to give it a try! A unique feature of the Raffles Long Bar is that the complimentary peanuts are all served in little burlap sacks - and patrons are encouraged to toss the peanut shells on the floor. After enjoying a drink at the Long Bar, don't miss the Writers Bar located on the right side of the hotel lobby. Although understated, the ambiance here is amazing! The overall environment is even more elegant than the Long Bar. The Writers Bar's signature Sunset Cocktail is another not-to-be-missed exquisite experience at Raffles Hotel Singapore, aside from the Long Bar's Singapore Sling. The bar's relaxed and comfortable setting is perfect for starting to get tipsy from the afternoon onwards.
