📝Singapore Travelogue part13: Buddha Tooth Relic Temple📝 🖼🖼🖼🖼 The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum is probably the most eye-catching building in the whole of Chinatown. The grand five-story Tang-style architecture rises from the ground, and although it's very new (built in 2007), once you enter the interior, you really feel the splendor and brilliance. 📷📷📷📷 Admission to the entire temple is free, and the indoor areas are all air-conditioned. It's not just a temple but also a museum of Buddhist culture, with exhibition halls on the upper floors displaying various Buddhist artifacts. The treasure of the temple is the Buddha tooth relic, which is housed in a stupa made of 320 kilograms of gold. Visitors can only take a glance from a distance and cannot enter the relic chamber, but it's still quite impressive. 🍃🍃🍃🍃 Besides the exhibitions, there is a vegetarian dining hall on the basement level, and a rooftop garden, as well as plenty of meditation spaces for meditation. After visiting so many temples in China, I still find the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Singapore to be a very special place. Visited on February 3, 2016
