A Comforting Taste of KL: Legacy Pork Noodles in Singapore

#favouriteitinerary Just a short 10-minute walk from Ang Mo Kio MRT station, Legacy Pork Noodles has quickly become our new favorite brunch spot, offering comforting KL-style pork noodles. The dry version comes with a separate bowl of rich, flavorful broth, making for a satisfying and well-balanced meal. We opted for two variations of dry noodles—Mee Kia and Mee Pok—both tossed in aromatic scallion oil that infused each strand with savory depth. The noodles were perfectly springy, absorbing the fragrant oil for a deliciously satisfying bite. While crispy pork lard is a popular add-on for extra indulgence, we chose to skip it this time. The accompanying broth, packed with minced pork and tender pork balls, was a highlight. The savory stock, simmered to perfection, added a comforting warmth. For those who enjoy a richer experience, the broth also comes with pig organs, though we opted out of that this time. The menu also offers a variety of noodle options—Mee Tai Mak, Yellow Noodles, Hor Fun, Yee Mee, and Mee Fen—each offering a different texture.
