You can't get much more Yorkshire than this

Getting There - At only ~10 miles away, buses from Skipton town centre should get you there within half an hour. You'll have to time your trip wisely though, as buses to Malham are one 2-3 times a day (in winter). You can also get there by car, but parking is limited in the area. Attractions - Malham Cove, Janet's Foss, Gordale Scar - all lengthy and hilly walks, so be sure to wear the right walking equipment. A packed lunch would do nicely as well - though there is a small food van not too far from Janet's Foss if you're in a pickle. Hotels - The Lister Arms, The Buck Inn, Food & Restaurants - The Old Barn Tearoom if you're on a budget and The Buck Inn if you're feeling a bit more indulgent are available in the center of the village for a quick bite or a well earned pint after exploring Malham's wonderful sights #mountainview #yorkshire
