Republike Square and the performance halls and museums around it make the square beautiful just by their appearance. People chat and rest here, and there is also an ice cream gelato shop that surprisingly tastes better than in Italy, so don't pass it by and definitely try it. Split City itself is so clean that it is a place to wander around, so it is much less uncomfortable than other European tourist destinations, and the people are friendly.
