Taipei City Attractions—North Gate (Cheng’en Gate)

In the past, when I passed the North Gate (Cheng'en Gate) by car, I would always rush to see the city gate, but I always felt that I should stop and learn about its history. This time, I will use my free time to appreciate the North Gate, which is the only remaining original city gate in the Minnan style and is also a historical landmark of Taipei. There are now historical sites near the city gate, such as the Ministry of Railways, Taipei Post Office, and the Western-style Buildings on Futai Street during the Qing Dynasty.
