Khone Phapheng Waterfall

#familytrips2024 Really beautiful waterfall. Over a rock formation of around 1 km wide. It's amazing to see how much water comes down the river. A massive force can be seen at this location. Drive there yourself or take one of the kayak tours which will eventually lead you there with a tuk tuk. Price is fair and the landscape is amazing. Probably the biggest falls in Laos! The place is really well prepared for tourism, with clean path, observation places, shop and toilets. The site is prepared to receive lot of tourists without damaging the surroundings. Site is however still natural, outside the tourist access, nature in quite intact. There was possibility to walk to the fall through the rocks, but recommended for fit people only, and acces is probably not opened all the time!
