I escaped Beijing for the weekend and drove 2 hours to Tianjin's backyard, Jizhou, on a whim without a prior reservation. Seeing the clean and tidy rooms and a play area for children, I decided to stay. The meals cost 260 yuan per person for three meals plus accommodation on weekends, and the dishes were quite lavish. Our group of 4 adults and 3 children enjoyed 10 dishes and a soup with both meat and vegetables, and we were very happy with the food. The aunt's cooking skills are amazing, even better than a restaurant. In short, it was a pleasant short trip.
