Yellowstone/Lake Area

The 'o' at the bottom of the figure 8 in Yellowstone Park represents the lake area. Midway Geyser Basin, Old Faithful, West Thumb, and Lake Village are all located here. J has been to Yellowstone and Jiuzhaigou before, and when I asked him 'Is the scenery the same?' he said it's pretty similar. I have been to Jiuzhaigou before and really liked it; I think it's a place worth revisiting for the scenery. It's also nice to see those views again in Yellowstone. Although both are places where it seems God has spilled his palette, Yellowstone and Jiuzhaigou have many differences. Yellowstone is more natural and primitive, with bison, ducks, foxes, goats, and bears often strolling nearby, sometimes leisurely walking on the road, while cars wait quietly, creating a very harmonious scene. It would definitely look great taken with a DSLR camera, but now I'm very reluctant to carry something so heavy during travel. Photos taken with a mobile phone are also beautiful, but they don't compare to seeing it with your own eyes. Many sceneries, once visited, seen, and remembered, that's enough.
