Xiang Hai Winery—A Romantic Estate in Xinjiang

Located on the west side of Xihai Park in Manas County, Xinjiang, Xiang Hai Winery sits at the foot of the northern Tianshan Mountains. Its location at 44°16' north latitude places it on the same latitude as Bordeaux, France, a region globally recognized as a prime wine-growing area. The winery's architecture, reminiscent of styles found in New Zealand and Europe, evokes a charming pastoral ambiance, creating a romantic atmosphere. Xiang Hai Winery boasts 285 mu (approximately 47 acres) of high-quality wine grapes, ranging from 18 to 25 years old. From the moment a grape seed is planted in this remarkable terroir, it benefits from 2,800 hours of annual sunshine, diurnal temperature variations exceeding 20°C (36°F), an altitude between 450 and 1,000 meters, irrigation from Tianshan snowmelt, and nourishment from pH 8.0 slightly alkaline soil, all within a pristine, unpolluted environment. The winery is equipped with a single production line capable of producing 100 tons of wine annually. Grapes are harvested by hand and meticulously sorted bunch by bunch. Adhering to traditional oak barrel aging techniques, the wines undergo a perfect transformation through the catalyst of time. The resulting wines possess a noble character imparted by the glacial snowmelt, giving Xiang Hai Winery's wines their ruby-like brilliance and clarity. A poetically designed rest area with white curtains billowing in the breeze is situated within the vineyard, offering a picturesque spot for photos. Visitors can experience the entire winemaking process, from grape cultivation and pressing to fermentation, cellaring, and bottling.
