Venice, Italy

Venice is a dream city for many, including myself. Every corner of this city is truly beautiful. Taking a boat ride to admire the old palaces and the beautiful houses on both sides is a visual delight. Additionally, Venice is home to many famous artists who have created Venetian-style artworks, such as Tintoretto, Titian, Giovanni Canaletto, and Bellini. As for the history of Venice, it was the most prosperous city during the Middle Ages. By the 12th century, it was a powerful state, and Gothic architecture was in vogue. Therefore, it is not surprising that most of the architecture we see today is predominantly Gothic. During the Renaissance, which emphasized balance, architects retained Gothic art but made some adjustments, such as changing the pointed arches to rounded ones. Coupled with Venice's extensive trade network and close ties with the East, Venetian architecture was influenced by Byzantine and Moorish styles. If you get a chance to experience Venice, you might fall in love with this city just like I did.
