Visiting Xichang in the off-season is really comfortable

1⃣️ Depart from Chengdu 🚄 arrive in the afternoon, and enjoy a hot pot barbecue + Liangshan snow in the evening, which is simply amazing. The hotel 🏨 is booked near Wanda Plaza and Qionghai 17 Degrees. 2⃣️ Early the next morning, we casually found a place near the hotel to try Huili Chicken Fire Noodles 🍜, which was very delicious, fresh, and light—perfect for breakfast 😋. After eating, take a taxi directly to Bird Watching Island Wetland Park and stroll along Qionghai Lake 🌊 to Diaoyutai to check in at the crooked neck tree 🌲. If lucky, you can see seagulls circling 🌀 and take a boat ride. After touring, around noon you can choose bus 🚌 route 106 or the lake loop bus 🚌 to Dashiban Village (less crowded with seats available). We had lunch in Dashiban Village, enjoying Qionghai fish 🐟 prepared two ways. There is a Lingying 🦅 Temple in the village that is great for photos and highly recommended 🆙. From Dashiban Village, you can continue by bus directly to Jianchang Ancient Town. It’s very quiet during the day, but the ancient town is quite new and has a nice vibe 🥰. You can finish exploring in just over an hour if you don’t go too deep, but it feels nicer to visit at night. There are also many snacks 🤤 inside. Then take a taxi 🚗 straight to the high-speed rail station to return to Chengdu.
