The best sunset spots in Guilin known only to locals for the most beautiful sunset glow

1. Yushan Bridge: Approx. 4 km from the city center (Shizi Street) by car. This spot is next to the Guilin Shangri-La Hotel. Under the Yushan Bridge is a shoal on the Lijiang River. In addition to the stunning sunset glow, locals can be seen fishing and catching shrimp in the Lijiang River, which looks like a lot of fun. 2. Chuanshan Park: Approx. 5 km from the city center by car. Navigate to the North Gate of Chuanshan Park. After getting off the car, walk for about 100–200m and you will see signs such as pavilions, bridges, and stone tablets on the right. To the left of here are the steps up the mountain. After going up the mountain, you will encounter a fork in the road. If you go left, you will reach Chuanbei Pavilion (the photo spot for this recommendation). If you go right, it is said that you will reach another mountain. 3. Laoren Mountain: Approx. 3 km from the city center.
