Universal Beijing Experience

Universal Beijing is a beautiful place and l had an incredible experience but there are some things I wish I'd known that would have better prepared me for the experience. Taxi to and from Universal, depending on where youre staying, is hella Expensive, if you can, just stay at the hotel there. Some tips would be to wear comfortable clothes and preferably trainers, you'll do a whole lot of walking, carry a decent amount of cash buying things inside Universal is pretty expensive especially food. Avoid going on a weekend or special holidays you'll feel as though you've been packed in a can of sardines. Honestly, It's a little pricey but get the Rollercoaster photos it's a memory that's worth spending on. Carry your own bottled water, waiting period between rides can be longer than an hour depending on how full it is. Carry something like a book to keep yourself occupied and a power bank is a must. There's a very real possibility you won't be able to do everything in one day even if you start at 8 am because it's a huge place so if you can afford it, plan for 2 days. Try out the different themed restaurants. Stay for the performances and parade at the end of the day, so much fun. Overall I highly recommend Universal Beijing for a short fun filled trip with friends, just bear in mind the above tips and be prepared for a lot of people, walking and waiting.
