Lesser-Known Travel Destination: Fenghuang Town in Xiangxi📍, so beautiful it's astonishing❗||This holiday, I didn't want to flock to the overcrowded tourist spots, so I chose a relaxed and pleasant lesser-known destination—Fenghuang Town in Xiangxi. You can get directly to Fenghuang Town Station from Changsha, and upon exiting the station, you can take a taxi straight to the ancient town or opt for self-driving. When I arrived, it was already evening, and the ancient town was very atmospheric with all the lights on. The town is situated above a waterfall, and it's very photogenic no matter where you snap a picture📷 The scenic area requires the purchase of a ticket, but it includes performances, and overall, it's quite nice. You can experience the Tujia ethnic culture. Besides Fenghuang Town, there are other attractions like the You River Gallery, Red Stone Forest, and Buniu Gate to explore. There's also a lot of delicious food, such as Tujia smoked meat pot, Osmanthus fish, rice tofu, Artemisia cakes, sweet rice wine, Xiangxi skewers, etc.—perfect for a weekend getaway to experience a different scene away from the city.
