The Place Where Dreams Begin: Yongfu Sakura Tea Garden in Longyan, Fujian

Since the April 2016 issue of 'National Geographic' with its cover, I was deeply attracted by the pink cherry blossoms and the verdant sea of tea. This year, I finally saw this picturesque beauty with my own eyes. Although it was nearing the end of the blooming period, it was still breathtakingly beautiful. On March 1, 2024, I captured this vibrant spring with my camera. 🍃Yongfu Sakura Tea Garden spans 50,000 mu and is planted with over 100,000 cherry trees of various types. The blooming period extends from mid-January to mid-March, with new changes every day. 📍Address: Taipin Sakura Tea Garden, Yongfu Town, Zhangping, Longyan, Fujian 🚗Transportation: 1. Self-driving/Chartered car: Located in a remote area, self-driving is more convenient. 2. Bus: First go to Longyan, then take a bus from Longyan Bus Station (old station) to Yongfu, and tell the driver to get off at the Sakura Garden. 🌸Cherry Blossom Viewing Tips: 3. There are many types of cherry blossoms with a long blooming period of three months. From late January to mid-February, although there are fewer varieties, the colors are bright; from mid-February to the end of the month is the peak blooming period, with a rich variety of species and colorful flowers; from early to mid-late March, during the final stage, the dominant colors are pink and white, which are interestingly set against the greenery. 4. Best viewing time: Under the sunny sky with blue sky and white clouds, the light changes are diverse, and the layers are distinct; on rainy days, the mountain mist is ethereal, with fewer people and a more serene scenery. 5. Recommended scenic spots for photo check-ins: 6. Fangfei Platform: The highest point in the park, overlooking the entire tea garden, is an excellent spot for watching the sunrise. 7. Taipin Sakura Tower: Dense with cherry blossoms, with Chinese-style architecture, it's very easy to take beautiful photos. 8. No. 2 Little Train: Slowly travels under the cherry trees, offering a unique romance. (Now the flowers along the railway line have fallen, not a must-choose) 9. Avoid peak crowds: 11:00-15:00 is the time when tourists are most concentrated, you can choose to travel at different times. 📷Photography Tips: 10. Use a drone to capture unexpected beautiful scenery. 11. There's no need to stay too long in crowded places, there are many cherry blossoms in the garden, and many places to take pictures. 12.
