Getting There - From Lanzhou you can either take a bullet train or fly there. Same if youre coming from Dunhuang or Jiayuguan. Attractions - Apart from the Danxia Colourful Rainbow mountain you can also visit the Alien Valley and the Wetland Park. We recommend to atleast stay in Zhangye for 2 days so you can see multiple tourist sights. There are more rourist sights like Pingshan Lake and Binggou Canyons. Hotels - Kaoshan Tent . We highly recommend this hotel/yurt. It is conveniently located near the rainbow mountain's entrance.. Food & Restaurants - There are options of restaurants outside the rainbow mountain and the hotel has an onsite restaurant too. Shopping - Few shops outside the rainbow mountain.
