The Brick Museum - Zhaoqing Ancient City Wall

The Zhaoqing Ancient City Wall, built in the third year of Huangyou of the Song Dynasty (1053), is a winding city wall of more than 2800 meters from the Song Dynasty. After a thousand years of baptism, it tells people about the historical vicissitudes of a thousand years and the changes of Zhaoqing, a national historical and cultural city. It is the 'first in Guangdong and rare in the country' brick museum. On this wishful Song city wall, there is a three-story ancient building with overlapping greens, purple air, and red walls and tiles, named 'Pi Yun Tower', which is known as the 'First Tower in Yuehai'. There are two plaques hanging on the Pi Yun Tower, one is 'Pi Yun Tower', and the other is 'The First State from the South of the Ridge'. The building and the section of the north city wall where it is located are collectively named 'Songcheng Lang Ancient', which is one of the eight sceneries of Duanzhou. In ancient times, there were many trees next to the Pi Yun Tower, and there were storks and cranes living there, so the 'Pi Yun Crane' became famous and was one of the eight sceneries of ancient Duanzhou.
