You may have seen the sunset over the mountains, and the sunset over the sea, but have you ever seen a sunset over a vast expanse of tidal flats? The tidal flats of Bayi Pond shine dazzlingly under the reflection of the setting sun and the evening glow, presenting a spectacular sight. Bayi Pond is bordered by Wenling to the north, Yuhuan to the south, Yueqing to the west, and is known as 'the pearl on Yueqing Bay'. Bayi Pond boasts an area of 28,000 mu of shallow sea tidal flats, 4,500 mu of freshwater aquaculture, with a total pond length of 8.6 kilometers. It cultivates various fish, shrimp, shellfish, and crabs, and is rich in products like jumping mudskippers, tide-watching, green crabs, sand crabs, razor clams, oysters, and other delicacies, making it a well-known 'ecological base'. Among them, Goose Crown Mountain is a unique egret conservation area. This time, I came specifically for the sunset. In the evening, the lines of the tidal flats are intricate and orderly, and under the illumination of the evening glow and sunset, they look like a golden scroll, stunning the passage of time. Watching the sunset gradually descend, I was preparing to leave reluctantly when suddenly I heard bursts of bird calls. Following the direction of a flock of egrets flying, I looked up at the roadside in a moment of surprise to discover white spots on the big trees, which were the egrets resting on the branches, blooming like flowers, a spectacular sight! As the sun sets and the weary birds return to their nests to rest here, it shows that the environment is good, with fish and shrimp in the tidal flats, nourishing this group of creatures.
