A Visit to the Hometown of Xishi: A Little Regret Amidst the Verdant Scenery With great anticipation, I set foot in the hometown of Xishi, hoping to witness the splendor of the blooming hydrangeas. However, to my disappointment, they had already withered. Just like those beautiful moments missed, it always brings a sense of regret. Still harboring a bit of unwillingness to let go, I went to the Xishi Temple, hoping to find some solace there. Yet, what made me feel even more dejected was that Xishi Temple had been closed since April 7th. The tightly shut doors seemed to be telling an unfinished story. Nevertheless, the hometown of Xishi is not only about loss. Walking through this verdant land, I felt the vitality and vigor of nature. The lush trees and the green grasslands were refreshing to the soul. Despite some regrets, the beauty of Xishi's hometown is still worth a visit. Perhaps on my next trip, the hydrangeas will bloom again, and Xishi Temple will reopen. For now, I just wish to treasure this beauty in my heart, looking forward to the next encounter.
