Old Trafford Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Old Trafford, Theatre of Dreams ! ❤️
Manchester United ! 💫
Old Trafford is a football stadium in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England, and the home of Manchester United. With a capacity of 74,310. It is the largest club football stadium (and second-largest football stadium overall after Wembley Stadium) in the United Kingdom.
Nicknamed "The Theatre of Dreams" by Bobby Charlton. Old Trafford has been United's home ground since 1910, although from 1941 to 1949 the club shared Maine Road with local rivals Manchester City as a result of Second World War bomb damage. Old Trafford underwent several expansions in the 1990s and 2000s, including the addition of extra tiers to the North, West and East Stands, almost returning the stadium to its original capacity of 80,000. Future expansion is likely to involve the addition of a second tier to the South Stand, which would raise the capacity to around 88,000. The stadium's record attendance was recorded in 1939, when 76,962 spectators watched the FA Cup semi-final between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Grimsby Town.
Watch a match here no matter you are a Man Utd fan or not , the atmosphere here is great ! At least once in a lifetime ! ❤️

John Rylands Research Institute and Library Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
The most beautiful library in the world
Name: John Rylands Library
Located in the city center (Deangate St.)
When you see the title of this post and you might feel “going to a library during travels?”, but thank you very much for clicking my post to read captions.
I felt the exactly the same thing when I checked the recommended places list of Manchester. However, it’s worth to go there! It was supposed to use as a church but people started to use this place as a library. So, the building looks like a church. #manchester #library #church
Harry Potter filming location!
Visited John Ryland’s library in Manchester and found out that a few scenes from Harry Potter were filmed here! The library is beautifully preserved and also hosts seasonal exhibitions, it’s worth a visit if you are in Manchester.
There are free buses which you can take there as it’s in the town area with lots of dining options around:)
Inspiration for Harry Porter’s Hogwarts?
The library is beautiful.
It’s free to enter but do keep your voice down.
We came here during a free Manchester city tour and was explained everything about the library.
If you are Harry Porter’s fan, you can come here and imagine yourself in Hogwarts. The architecture of the library is beautiful. It was built in 1890. Do come and explore those small corner of reading area.
Here you’ll find some of the rarest and most beautiful books in Britain including the oldest existing piece of the New Testament and a first edition of Shakespeare’s Sonnets. Overall, the Library is an impressive place well worth exploring.
🇬🇧 The John Rylands Library, Manchester
✨ Definitely felt like I got transported into the world of Harry Potter! 🪄✨
The John Rylands Library in Manchester, which opened to the public in 1900, was founded by Mrs Enriqueta Augustina Rylands in memory of her late husband, John Rylands. It was also with the intentions to enrich the City’s architecture.

Manchester Airport Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Trip from India To Denmark to Manchester Uk
#trip #uk Nice place to hangout super cold enjoy the freezing temp
I recently travelled through the newly renovated terminal 2 at Manchester airport.
This terminal only has international flights and lots of the airlines use bag drop counters to avoid long queues. The airport follows the typical route of going through duty free before arriving at the gate and it was interesting to hear that all announcements were made in multiple languages. The terminal is still very new and there are enough seats/refreshment areas #urbanexplorer
Convenient in transit at Manchester airport
Trip to Belfast

Manchester Airport was beautiful and it felt like I am back at my home. Arriving in Belfast just made my day. beautiful architecture and landscape with a little bit of rain made my day.

Manchester City Etihad Stadium
When in Manchester, one attraction that you need to go to is the football stadium called Manchester City Etihad stadium. Manchester city football fans would be thrilled to visit this stadium as it is the homeground for the football team and many spectacular football matches had been held there.
The moment you're at the stadium's carpark, you can't help but be in awe and feel the grandeur of the stadium. You see it all decked in Manchester City football team color, which is blue and you can see banners of their football players. The stadium is huge and you get to see their trophies on display too. A walk back in time at this museum
The Manchester Museum is not just a stroll through history; it's a hilarious romp through time and cultures. The highlight of the museum is undoubtedly the "Dinos in Mancunia" exhibit, where you'll find T-Rexes that seem to have mastered the art of the Mancunian swagger. Forget Jurassic Park; welcome to Jurassic Manc!
As you make your way to the Egyptology section, get ready for a comedic journey through mummies and sarcophagi. It's like a stand-up routine from the afterlife, complete with pharaohs who probably had killer punchlines. Tip: the Sphinx might not tell you any riddles, but it does a mean impression of a cat trying to fit into a cardboard box.
For a side-splitting detour, head to the Vivarium, where you'll meet creatures that could moonlight as comedians if they weren't busy being reptiles. Picture this: snakes doing their best impressions of slithering supermodels and chameleons attempting the ultimate game of hide-and-seek.
If you're a fan of ancient bling, the Golden Mummies exhibit will have you questioning if you've stumbled into an Egyptian episode of "MTV Cribs." Those mummies knew how to accessorize, proving that fashion has truly stood the test of time.
In conclusion, the Manchester Museum isn't your average museum visit; it's a laugh-out-loud exploration of the past. Whether you're dodging dinosaur side-eye or sharing a joke with a mummy, this museum is a comedic time capsule that proves history can be seriously funny
Explore Manchester | Large-scale industrial monsters
From London, it takes about two hours by train to reach Manchester in the northwest of England. As a typical industrial city, Manchester may not have as many tourist attractions as other British cities, nor does it have too many ancient buildings, but it has its own unique industrial heritage and charm, with a mix of industrial and modern styles.
Several museums in Manchester are very special. Manchester Museum focuses on nature and all living things, People's History Museum focuses on the struggle for rights, and the Science and Industry Museum presents the interesting and rich heritage of the city's industries such as railways and textiles.
Manchester's library is also worth a visit, at least the architectural style is much more attractive than London's. Manchester's canals are a unique scenery, the former transportation hub is now developed into a tourist and leisure destination.
Overall, Manchester, with its construction projects everywhere, is a city with ambition. Living here is as convenient as in London, but with less gloominess and more vitality of a modern city.
