Molly's Castle at POPLAND is Absolutely Magnificent.
🌟 Molly’s Castle is a spectacular Molly-themed castle that serves as the main landmark and the heart of POPLAND, the world's first POP MART theme park, located in Chaoyang Park, Beijing, China.
🌟 The castle stands three stories high and features the following exciting zones:
✔️ 1st Floor (Molly Toy's House & Museum): An art toy museum showcasing legendary collections and rare POP MART pieces, along with an exclusive merchandise shop.
✔️ 2nd-3rd Floors (Cafes, Restaurants, and Viewpoints): Features adorable cafes serving snacks and drinks inspired by popular characters like Molly, Dimoo, and Labubu. It's the perfect spot to relax and snap photos with the theme park in the background.
✔️ Basement (Journey of Wishes): Designed as a mysterious secret room within Molly's Castle, holding secrets waiting for you to uncover (trust me, this zone is incredibly cute!).
🌟 A highly recommended highlight of Molly's Castle is the evening music, light, and sound show. You'll even see Molly blowing bubbles from the top floor of the castle—it's absolutely adorable!

A Journey to Another Planet | Goblin Valley 2-Day Itinerary
DAY 1|A Day Walking Among Unique Rock Formations
Morning travel to Goblin Valley State Park in Utah.
As soon as you enter the park, you'll be greeted by endless mushroom-shaped rock formations, creating an otherworldly landscape.
Explore the Main Valley of Goblin Valley freely.
There are no designated trails, allowing you to wander among the formations as you please. Up close, each rock has a unique shape, making the exploration even more fascinating.
In the afternoon, enjoy the view from a scenic overlook.
From above, the formations resemble a gathering of goblins.
At sunset, watch the colors change.
The red hues seep into the rocks, transforming the atmosphere into something entirely different from daytime.
After dinner, relax at accommodations near the park.
---
DAY 2|Morning Scenery & Leisure
Visit the park again early in the morning.
With almost no visitors, it's the perfect time to freely roam among the formations.
Admire the goblin-like rocks in the morning sunlight.
Take photos and enjoy a light walk.
Wrap up the itinerary with travel around lunchtime.
Goblin Valley is not a "view-from-the-overlook" type of park but a place where you immerse yourself by walking through its unique terrain. A 2-day trip is enough to fully enjoy this extraordinary landscape.

Goblin Valley State Park – Utah’s Otherworldly Playground
#mytraveldiary
Goblin Valley State Park, located in southeastern Utah, is famed for its surreal landscape filled with thousands of mushroom-shaped rock formations known as “goblins.” These hoodoos, carved by wind and water over millions of years from Entrada sandstone, create a bizarre and enchanting desert scene that feels almost alien.
⸻
Ambience & Setting
The valley stretches out in a wide, open basin, where clusters of goblins stand like whimsical stone figures. The formations range from a few feet tall to towering shapes, resembling everything from animals to abstract sculptures. The eerie silence of the desert, combined with the red-and-orange hues of the rocks, makes the park feel like a natural wonderland frozen in time.
⸻
Highlights
· Goblin Valley: A vast field of hoodoos, perfect for exploration and photography.
· Hiking: Family-friendly trails like The Carmel Canyon Loop, Curtis Bench Trail, and Goblin’s Lair (a hidden slot canyon).
· Goblin’s Lair: A dramatic cavern accessed by scrambling, adding an adventurous edge.
· Stargazing: Designated as an International Dark Sky Park, offering phenomenal views of the night sky.
· Geology: The Entrada sandstone formations showcase millions of years of erosion.
⸻
Practical Info
· Location: About 50 km (30 miles) southwest of Green River, Utah, USA.
· Access: Easily reached by car; paved road to the park entrance.
· Entry Fee: Around USD 20 per vehicle (subject to updates).
· Best Time to Visit: Spring and fall offer mild temperatures; summers are hot and winters can be cold.
· Facilities: Campground, yurts, picnic areas, and a visitor center.

Why It’s Worth Visiting
Goblin Valley State Park offers one of the most unique desert landscapes in the American Southwest. Its whimsical hoodoo formations create a playground for exploration, imagination, and photography. Whether wandering among the goblins by day or gazing at the star-filled sky by night, the park provides a magical and otherworldly experience.

Goblin Valley State Park, UT📍
desert hoodoos, red rock, miles to wander, and dog-friendly!
only downside: it’s hot season! 🥵
This was our first time in GVSP near Hanksville, Utah and it was such a fun place to explore! These two trails showed us great hoodoos and even a shaded cave with an exciting scramble to get into.
See my previous post for our full day 2 itinerary ✨
ABOUT THE TRAILS:
🥾 Goblin Valley Trail
Distance: 5.2 miles RT if you go all the way to Valley3-we turned around beforehand due to heat to save time for the other trail!
Elevation: 200 ft gain
Difficulty: easy
Time: 1 hour 15 mins
Conditions: dry, sandy, follows a river wash part of the way, only a few spots with shade in the late morning
Traffic: low
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
🥾Goblin’s Lair
Distance: 2.3 miles RT
Elevation: 300 ft gain
Difficulty: moderate (last part is difficult)
Time: 1 hour
Conditions: dry, sandy, all exposed NO shade, last bit into the cave is steep and technical. requires hands and knees work, some big leg moves-which was really fun!
Traffic: low
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
OTHER TIPS:
💦 Bring lots of water, especially if you bring your dog. If you do bring your dog, consider boots for when the ground gets hot this summer, but also maybeeee leave them behind in the hot months because it just isn’t worth the discomfort/safety hazard/torture for them 🧡🐾
🧢 Hats, sunglasses, even an umbrella would be nice as there is basically NO shade. Apply sunscreen often-the desert sun is no joke
🗺️ We had no service the whole time in the park- download your map ahead of time as it’s easy to get sidetracked following random footsteps because of the freedom to wander around.
🌎 Leave no trace! Pack up your trash, don’t carve into the rock, and respect the wild land you get to explore!
There are so many more trails to hike and explore in Goblin Valley… which trails do you want to do?

Visiting Joblin Valley Park in Utah was a unique and exciting experience. I enjoyed exploring this natural site featuring exotic terrain, unusual rock formations that resembled fairies and fairy monsters.
I wandered among the huge rocks and enjoyed the unique and amazing scenery surrounding the place. The atmosphere was calming and exciting at the same time, and the visit left a deep impression on my mind.
I enjoyed taking pictures and relaxing in this wonderful place, and walked out of the park with beautiful memories and amazing images of Utah's natural beauty.
