Tuscany is a fantastic region to visit. Everywhere you go you are met with wonderful fresh produce, pasta, wine, oil, etc Rolling hills with vineyards, olive groves, are the best medicine for the tired soul. Roads are quite windy at places so plan ahead if you are not used being a passenger in the car. We visited Castellina in Chianti and Greve, both great and about 25 mins away from each other. Greve has a wonderful square that comes alive at weekends with local markets, restaurants and bars. Go for breakfast at one of the local cafes where cappuccinos are about 1,5 euros and cornet to (pastry) usually not more than 2. It’s quiet and a good base to go on day trips to local vineyards etc.

The place is very well maintained, clean and beautiful ornate buildings. There are coffee places around the main square where you can grab some pastries, drink a good coffee or why not Choosing the best flavors for your Gelatto!
