Lijiang is a fantastic city in Yunnan Province. It is one of China’s best-preserved ancient towns. You should stay and explore the ancient city which is the historic centre. Enjoy the amazing wooden architecture, little canals and bridges. This city is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Walking on the streets is fun, there are many landmarks such as Temples, museums, markets and little typical restaurant to sit and enjoy a glass of wine, tea and local food. We came to Lijiang for one night but I would recommend at least to spend two nights or three to experience the city without rushing all time. Baisha Old Town is a small old town not far from the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Another city worth visiting. A small old town with a million-dollar view. Take a walk around the city and enjoy the view of the snow-capped mountains. Although the city is small, the atmosphere is lively. There are things to buy along the walkways. There are cute shops and cafes to stop by and eat. For those who go to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, I would like you to try this city. 🫶🏻✨ There are also white sheep and foxes for rent to take pictures. Today, Mai traveled alone by train from Kunming to Lijiang. It is a very large ancient city. Most people rent a photoshoot outfit with a photographer. So, Mai rented a Tibetan and Uyghur outfit.
