🇮🇳From February 28th to March 2nd, I went on a girls' trip to India using Trip.com, where I purchased accommodation and travel vouchers✨ As it was my first time in India, I encountered many confusing situations and minor troubles, so I'd like to share them🫶🏻 📍The flight was a direct flight with JAL ▶︎The flight was very comfortable and wonderful♪ 📍The hotel was the Hyatt Regency Gurugram ▶︎The hotel itself was great, and even had a bathtub! ⭐︎Rice isn't included, but since there aren't any convenience stores or places to grab a snack nearby, I recommend adding breakfast 🥞 (because it's dangerous to go out late at night). On our last morning, we added the buffet, and they even surprised us with a cake, which made for a wonderful memory 🍰 🌀Recommended nearby spots: ⭐︎Sodhi's Supermarket सोढ़ी'स सुपरमार्केट (Supermarket) ▶︎Perfect for buying souvenirs. ⭐︎Easy Basket Supermarket ईजी बास्केट सुपरमार्केट (Safe shopping until late at night) ▶︎Like a shopping mall? You can shop even at night. ⚠️However, since it takes a little over an hour by car from New Delhi, this hotel is not recommended for those who prefer to be closer to the city center. 🇮🇳This was my first visit to India, and I found many people to be friendly and kind, especially those who are fond of Japan. Japanese people seemed to be a rare sight, and I was often asked for photos, lol. 〈Points to Note〉 ①I applied for an e-visa when leaving the country, but I was so satisfied with just that that I didn't print it out. Everyone else had printed theirs out, so be sure to print it out! 🉐 It will make things much smoother. ②After leaving the country, my luggage was taken off the rails without my permission, and I had a hard time finding it. It's a good idea to attach a clearly identifiable strap. ③Uber is a must for taxis. It helps avoid being ripped off. ④It takes over 5 hours from the plane to the Taj Mahal, so it's a test of endurance! I recommend booking a tour in advance. ▶︎Tour operators are friendly, but they'll try to sell you expensive things, so be sure to clearly say "No❌". Don't let them take advantage of you!! ️ ▶︎Souvenirs are expensive in tourist areas, so I recommend buying them in Delhi. 〈Recommended SPOT〉 ⭐︎Happy Hunter Tea Boutique & Tea Salon (Indian Tea Specialty Shop) ▶︎A tea shop recommended for souvenirs. They offer many tea samples. It's located near the Red Fort. It's within walking distance. (There are many stalls around, so walking is quite difficult, about 20 minutes.) ⭐︎LoCol by Subko लोकल बाय सबको ▶︎Coffee shop It's expensive for India, but it makes a great souvenir! The location is hard to find, and it's dangerous to go there at night. ⭐︎Devan's South Indian Coffee and Tea pvt ltd देवन'स साउथ इंडियन कॉफी एंड टी पीवीटी एलटीडी ▶︎Traditional coffee shop The beans were quite cheap, so I bought about 1 kg. Whether you are visiting India for business or leisure, this hotel offers comfort, convenience, and peace of mind. Amber Palace is part of a China-based Indian premium restaurant group, with presence across several Chinese cities. This connection is clearly reflected in the hotel’s design and operations. From the moment you enter, you will notice Chinese-inspired interiors, signage in both Chinese and English, and a very welcoming environment. The presence of Chinese-speaking staff makes communication easy and adds great comfort for Chinese guests. The check-in was smooth, and the room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The bed was soft, the room was fully equipped with modern amenities, high-speed Wi-Fi, and everything felt thoughtfully arranged for international travellers. A highlight of my stay was the rooftop garden restaurant, Amber Wall. The ambience is relaxed and elegant, perfect for dinner. The restaurant serves authentic Chinese cuisine, along with modern Indian and international dishes. I highly recommend Cumin Mutton, Kung Pao Chicken, Mapo Tofu, and Sichuan Noodles—all were flavorful and truly authentic. We also enjoyed the local specialty Gurugram-style Chicken Tikka. Every dish was excellent, and it was nice to see many Chinese guests dining here, which speaks for itself. The service throughout the hotel was warm and professional, and the staff was always helpful. The hotel also offers conference rooms and banquet facilities, making it a good option for business travellers and corporate events. Overall, Amber Palace Hotel feels like a perfect destination for foreign travellers, especially from China—familiar, comfortable, and welcoming. It is a 5-star hotel, so the service is great and it has a modern feel overall. The location is also close to several malls, so I was satisfied! There is a small bar in the corner of the lobby, and the pool was bigger than I thought. I wanted to jump into the water in the 45 degree heat, but it was so hot that I just turned on the air conditioner in my room and lay down. And it is very local, I suggest another foreigner there during my two visits. Tip: most of the restaurants are closed until 11 AM, so keep that in mind if you’d like to go there in the morning. There are quite a few stores and tons of restaurants and coffee shops. Prices vary as there are some common chain restaurants and as well some upscale, more expensive venues. It is pleasantly quiet, you won’t hear any beeping from the streets, which was a big plus after a day in a loud city.

Gurubram is much newer, nicer and quieter to stay than Delhi. If you need to chill for a day before catching your flight - I recommend staying in Gurugram rather than New Delhi. 📅 Itinerary Day1: 1 Chill at the hotel in a quiet neighborhood and forget about noise of Indian streets. 2 Walk around and check one of local supermarkets (the biggest is Sodhi’s Super Market, Southcity, Sector 41 and it has quite a few options to grab as sweet souvenirs or even saffron). 3 Clearly a siesta at the hotel to avoid extreme heat. 4 Head to Cyber Hub for some shopping and a dinner. Place is upscale middle class, lots of food options on mid-upscale budget. 🏨 Accommodation Hotel Millenium Elite 🍴 Food Recommendations any Indian restaurant at Cyber hub 📌 Tips 1 restaurants at Cyber hub open late, not many options before 11am. 2 Uber may take long time to arrive due to low availability of cars around, so it is best to prebook it for your trip to the airport.

When I entered the lobby, the spacious and bright space with artistic decorations instantly put me in a good mood. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and efficient. When I checked in, they thoughtfully introduced the hotel's facilities and nearby attractions. Full marks for service! 🛏 I was pleasantly surprised by the room layout. I stayed in a deluxe king room, which was very spacious. The decor was simple and cozy, and the color scheme was comfortable and pleasant. The bed was soft and clean, and the bedding was of great quality. I didn't want to get up once I lay down. The room was fully equipped, with a TV, air conditioning, and stable Wi-Fi. There was also a mini bar with various snacks and drinks, which was very thoughtful. When I opened the curtains, I could see the beautiful city view through the large window. During the day, the sunlight filled the room with warmth. 🍽 The hotel's dining was also excellent! There were a variety of restaurants, including a buffet restaurant offering international cuisine and a restaurant specializing in Indian dishes. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, including Western bread, bacon, and eggs, as well as local Indian snacks like samosas and parathas, all of which were delicious! New Delhi has a subway system that India's most advanced city, Mumbai, does not have! It's hard to get around in Mumbai, but the subway in New Delhi is smooth, and best of all, you don't have to negotiate the price with the autorickshaw driver. What's more, the inside of the car is clean and empty. It feels like you're on the Japanese subway. The exterior of Huda City Centre station, the last stop on the Yellow Line, is designed like a Japanese station, and there's even a Starbucks. It makes you feel like you're in India! Gurgaon has many shopping malls, making it an interesting city where you can experience something outside of India.

Every time we go to India we feel this perfect combination, smart cities where we can enjoy amenities such as: 🌆 24/7 security, swimming pools, private buildings lit every night, gym and houses with modern amenities. 🌳 And then we have the gardens that these smart cities have, which gives us that clean air we look for on our trips. Gardens with local flowers, parks full of life, decorated to feel unique in a place as crowded as India. Locations of these places in New Delhi, Gurugram and Noida. Important information: they are not tourist sites, but residential, staying here is respecting its citizens, enjoying luxury and elegance with people who have a high purchasing power. I’m Minaxi, and I was initially unsure where to stay in Gurgaon. I had stayed at Westin Gurgaon a month earlier but wanted to try a different property since I enjoy exploring good hotels and resorts. Based on a recommendation from my senior, Sanjay ji, who’s a member here, I chose this hotel. I had the pleasure of meeting an amazing staff here. Being part of the same industry—formerly an air hostess and now back to modeling after many years—I enjoy traveling and meeting wonderful people. What impressed me most about this place was the greenery, tidiness, no lifts, and especially the stunning swimming pool surrounded by lush green plants. I spent over two hours there, enjoying the serene ambiance with trees and even a peacock nearby—it was such a divine and much-needed experience. Another highlight was the food and beverage staff. Sumit, Mahendra ji, Sumeet, Vijay, Rozim, and Anusmita were incredibly welcoming. Among them, Sumit stood out, taking special care of me as I was feeling low and tired. He thoughtfully provided warm water with lemon and honey and helped me with fruits to suit my intermittent fasting. Sumit, with his kind soul and spark in his eyes, deserves recognition and support from the management as an asset to the team. He’s from Manipur and has the potential to significantly contribute to the company’s progress. The reception also felt alive with Majid, who has a warm personality. On September 13th, when I was feeling ill with rashes, fever, and fatigue, I needed assistance. Sourabh, an employee at the reception, kindly granted me a 2-hour extension for departure, which made me feel much better and enjoy my day. Sourabh’s support was a blessing, helping me recover and feel uplifted. Thanks to the owner and everyone associated with the hotel for creating such a wonderful experience. These days, I order their dry fruits and dates from Dubai and the UK for my daily consumption. I'll definitely be placing corporate gifting orders for my firm in Noida and Gurgaon in the future.

We had a wonderful time as a family in a stunning park that felt truly intimate, featuring majestic elephants. The staff was delightful and very friendly, and we even had the chance to enjoy a drink and some fruit alongside the elephants. It was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

The waterpark is large with plenty of entertainment options for kids, and slides suitable for all ages. Everything is very beautiful. There's a food zone within the waterpark, which pleasantly surprised us as part of the hotel complex. Our only request would be for the mini carts to drop off passengers closer. Over the past three years, I’ve stayed at The Oberoi in Chandigarh, Gurgaon, and Mumbai, and every visit surpasses the last. This time, it was the attention to the little details that truly amazed me. For instance, the housekeeping staff not only cleaned but even organized and tied up all my wires! They surprised me with flowers and a cake for my birthday, and the car service took me to enjoy street-food chai and parantha, which I absolutely loved. The morning yoga session with a fantastic instructor was such a great way to start the day. I was also deeply moved by the sound healing space where the stunning gong caught my attention, especially as I’ve been playing the gong myself for years. The spa was incredible, and I thoroughly enjoyed the gym, where the trainer took the time to walk me through the equipment and explain everything—something I really appreciated. Breakfast was a highlight, absolutely delicious, and I couldn’t get enough of the breakfast buffets! The Residents’ Lounge offered delightful food, and the live music in the evenings added an elegant ambiance. My room was stunning and exceptionally comfortable, complete with a luxurious bathtub, a fancy toilet, a well-stocked minibar, and the lovely Forest Essentials toiletries. However, what truly sets The Oberoi apart is its remarkable staff. Their kindness, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine respect radiate through every member of the team. It’s clear that everyone contributes to the guest experience. I’ve now made up my mind—if I’m traveling in India and there’s an Oberoi, that’s where I’m staying. Her politeness, friendliness, and helpful nature stood out throughout our visit. She greeted us warmly at all times and ensured we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Her positivity and thoughtful service left a lasting impression. We deeply appreciated the way she cared for our family and made us feel so valued. The Independence Day celebration, exceptional hospitality, and Zoya’s outstanding service combined to make our visit truly unforgettable. From the sales team offering us a great long-stay deal to the hours spent dining with warm, family-like staff, every moment was delightful. Over two months, this place truly felt like home. Housekeeping was impeccable, leaving the room fresh and pleasant daily. The front office staff, particularly Aarti and Rahul, were always friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was a highlight—25 meters long, it allowed me to improve my lap times during my stay. The café was another standout, with Ritesh serving water with a flair that could rival any bartender and Chetan's uplifting positivity brightening even the dullest days. Overall, I experienced a wonderful "home away from home" atmosphere at Lemon Tree. My heartfelt thanks go to everyone, including those not mentioned, for making my stay unforgettable. It's excellent value for money, and I’ll definitely return.

When I wanted to order a coffee latte and had no clue how to do so, they made every effort to ensure I got exactly the coffee I desired, even overcoming the challenge of sign language communication.
