🏖️📷Scenic Spots
・Newcastle Museum
Make sure to check the opening days! It was closed when I visited, but there were cute wall arts nearby.
・Newcastle Memorial Walk
A healing spot where you can see the ocean, cityscape, and sky all at once. 🔥
・Nobbys Beach
・Newcastle Beach
The water is crystal clear, and walking along the beach is delightful. Time your visit to catch the sunset for a magical experience.
☕️Cafes
・Goldbergs Coffee House
137 Darby St, Cooks Hill NSW 2300
A cafe with a bar-like atmosphere. The staff were kind, making it a relaxing spot. I only visited one cafe, but the area had several options to explore and find your favorite.
・Biggs Coffee Hamilton
1A Beaumont St, Hamilton NSW 2303
A cafe right in front of Hamilton Station! The place was lively with locals, and since it was Christmas 🎄, Santa was there too! I got to take photos and even Polaroid pictures with Santa, which remain a cherished memory. The coffee was, of course, delicious!
・Moor Newcastle East🍔
33 Hunter St, Newcastle NSW 2300
I wanted brunch, and since it was a holiday, most places were closed. This was one of the few open spots! I ordered a burger, which was filling and had great portions.
🏠Recommended Accommodation
・Sydney Junction Hotel
Located right in front of Hamilton Station. They kindly stored my luggage even before check-in. Though the showers were shared, the room was spacious and satisfying.
