There are also buses from Chengdu, and you can take a taxi to the park. Personally, I think both methods are equally convenient. Recommended Duration of Stays 🕝 1. Four Sisters National Park: 2 days, 1 night. Hiking both Changpinggou and Shuangqiaogou trails requires at least 1.5 days + 1 night stay. 2. Bipenggou National Park: A day trip from your accommodation is sufficient. 4-5 hours of walking is enough. There are shuttles available. 3. Dagu Glacier National Park: A day trip, no overnight stay required. Take the cable car up. Highlights of each location ⭐️ 1. Si Da Rueang (Four Sisters Mountain): Spacious, with shuttle service alternating with walking trails. Stunningly beautiful and large mountains with diverse views. Not crowded. 2. Bipenggou: Smaller than the others, more crowded, but with a park shuttle service available. Not much walking involved, and has a ski slope. 3. But it's worth the trip! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The exhaustion from hiking through the parks 🚶🏻♀️ 1. Four Maidens: Extremely tiring! My legs were killing me. Lots of rest needed. 2. Bipenggou: Relaxing and easygoing. 3. Dagu Glacier: Relaxing and easygoing. Precautions 💡 All three locations are quite high with low oxygen levels. Prepare yourself by getting plenty of rest and bring oxygen canisters. Those prone to altitude sickness should take allergy medication before visiting any of the three places. Also, be careful of the winding roads between the parks. Those who get motion sickness easily should take motion sickness medication. 😁 P.S. If you go in winter, be prepared with warm clothing. All three locations are cold and windy.

Review of a 1,250 THB/night accommodation. We only stayed for one night and headed back to the city the next morning. Dagu Glacier (Dagu Glacier or Dagu Bingchuan) 📍Jiangyang Boutique Stay Boutique Homestay We booked through Trip.com, and it didn't include breakfast. At 7:30 AM, a car picked us up to go to Dagu Glacier National Park, which was just a 15-minute ride. We actually arrived before the staff and had to wait for the park to open at 8:00 AM.

Day 1: Manhua Manor💐 A huge garden filled with seasonal blooming flowers. Little zoo here is really good too. Day 2: Dujiangyan Day Trip🐼🤳 Go to Dujiangyan, 1 hour from Chengdu by Didi, or you can take the high-speed train from Xipu Station. Start with Panda Valley and back in town to take a photo with the famous panda selfie statue. Visit Dujiangyan Irrigation System, a UNESCO World Heritage. The water here has a beautiful blue color, and in the evening the area lights up beautifully. Day 3: Mount Siguniang🏔️ Travel to Mount Siguniang. Recommend Shuangqiaogou route, the most scenic and accessible valleys in Mount Siguniang. Stay overnight. Best restaurant : Ice axe cafe. Good vibe with yummy food. Day 4: Back to Chengdu🌇 Walk around Chunxi Road, then continue to Taikoo Li and the famous IFS building, where you can see the giant panda climbing on the building. If you still have energy, visit Kuanzhai Alley, a charming historic walking street that mixes old Chengdu-style architecture with modern shops. Day 5: Bipenggou Join a 2-day trip to Bipenggou + Dagu glacier. Bipenggou is a beautiful 4A national scenic area often called the “Switzerland of Sichuan.” When we visited, there was heavy snow, and everything was completely white. The whole place looked like a winter fairytale. Day 6: Dagu Glacier The cable car takes you all the way up to around 4,860 meters, so it is very convenient and does not require too much walking. You can walk around the nearby area to take photos. The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by snow mountains and wide open sky. Please walk slowly here because the oxygen level is very low. It is easy to feel dizzy if you move too fast. We were very lucky that the sky was clear on the day we visited. After that, travel back to Chengdu. Day 7: Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou🏞️ Take the high-speed train to Huanglong Jiuzhai Station, then continue by bus to Jiuzhaigou. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and is famous for its crystal-clear blue and turquoise lakes. Recommend to take the park shuttle bus all the way to the highest point first, then slowly explore your way down. If you have more time, you can also add Huanglong Scenic Area before returning, especially during its peak season. At the top, there is a viewpoint at an altitude of approximately 4,860 meters. The weather is quite cold, and there are occasional strong winds, but the view of the snow-capped mountains and glaciers is truly magnificent, making the trip worthwhile. Along the way, there are small wooden shops and plenty of photo spots. For those who love taking pictures of snow and mountain views, this place is highly recommended. Additionally, there’s ice cream available for sale on the mountain, offering a unique experience of enjoying ice cream amidst the snow. Experiencing the first snow as someone from a tropical region is absolutely delightful!

We tried the hot matcha latte and hot latte, which were refreshing and energizing. Additionally, the rainbow crepe cake was both adorable and delicious. ✨Relax, sip tea, and enjoy the view.
