But what impressed me the most was the incredibly diverse breakfast buffet! 🍽️✨ Right from the morning, you can indulge in a wide array of local Okinawan delicacies, including sea grapes, goya champuru, and Okinawa soba. 🤤🌺 My twin room was wonderfully spacious, featuring a sparkling, glass-enclosed bathroom! It was such a comfortable and relaxing space. 🛁 They even had front-loading washing machines in the shared area, so I was able to get all my laundry done effortlessly. ✌️ Whether you're taking a stroll along the pristine beach or just gazing out over the pool, this hotel offers a special environment where both mind and body can be completely refreshed. 🥰 As you can see in the photos, the pool area is massive, making it a fantastic choice for families with children. 🫶 If you're planning a trip to Okinawa, I can't recommend this resort hotel enough! ✈️🌴

Bibi Beach Itoman is an excellent, well-maintained beach in southern Okinawa. It’s the perfect spot for both a relaxing day by the water and a beautiful photo shoot. ✨ What to check out: 1. Instagrammable Arch Bridge: A picturesque stone bridge leads to a small observation deck. The lagoon water beneath is so crystal-clear that you can see every detail of the sandy bottom. 2. Plane Spotting: The beach sits right under the flight path for planes landing at Naha Airport. You can capture some awesome shots of airliners flying directly over the bridge. 3. Local Vibe: A traditional wooden sabani boat welcomes you at the entrance. In the lounge area, the sunshades are supported by columns shaped like giant cans of the famous Okinawan Orion beer. 4. Stunning Sunsets: In the evening, the sun dips right into the East China Sea, bathing everything in fantastic golden hues. The best views are from the stone spit near the tetrapods. ⚠️ Things to know & Rules: · Restrictions: The swimming area is enclosed by a protective net. Parking costs around 500 yen. 🚌 Getting there by public transit: Okinawa is known for being tricky to navigate without a car, but getting to Bibi Beach is totally doable: · Direct Bus (Most Convenient): From Naha Airport or the central Kokusai Dori street, you can hop on a Tokyo Bus (Route TK02 / Umikaji Line). Take it all the way to the final stop, Southern Beach Hotel & Resort—this large hotel is right next to the beach. · Via Itoman Bus Terminal: From downtown Naha (Naha Bus Terminal), you can take the popular Bus #89 to the Itoman Bus Terminal. From there, it’s about a 2.5 km trip to the beach—you can walk, grab a taxi (just a 5-minute ride), or transfer to a local city bus.

However, since it's such a popular tourist destination, there are actually very convenient bus routes to all the famous attractions. There are even many one-day passes available. If it's your first time visiting Okinawa, you can just buy the Okinawa Fun Pass. Why do I recommend this pass? Because 90% of the included attractions are accessible by public transport, with convenient and frequent schedules. Plus, using this pass can significantly cut down on ticket costs, so I highly recommend it. Day 1: After arriving at the airport, take the monorail to your downtown hotel, and explore Kokusai Dori in the evening. Note: If your flight arrives in the afternoon, you can choose to stay in American Village to make the next day's trip to Churaumi Aquarium easier. Of course, since you aren't driving, I recommend staying at a hotel near Kokusai Dori for the entire trip. This is the most convenient option, as you won't have to lug your bags around, and catching buses is a breeze. Day 2: Churaumi Aquarium + Cape Manzamo. You can use the Okinawa Fun Pass for all of this. Tickets are included, and the bus route is very straightforward, saving you from unnecessary detours. Day 3: Nago Pineapple Park + American Village. In the morning, take a bus to the Pineapple Park for a half-day visit, then catch another bus to experience American Village at night. It's absolutely stunning, which is why it draws such a crowd. Buses run until 9 PM, making it super easy to head back to your downtown hotel afterward. Day 3: Gyokusendo Cave + Ou Island. These spots are also easily accessible by bus and are located in the same direction, making for a smooth, full-day itinerary. Day 4: DMM Kariyushi Aquarium, Itoman Market, and Toyosaki Seaside Park. I guarantee you'll want to spend the entire day here. You can stroll through supermarkets and department stores, and enjoy the free beach. Day 5: Naminoue Shrine + Senagajima. Since you're flying out on Day 5, lugging baggage around can be a hassle. I recommend leaving your luggage at the hotel early in the morning and heading to Naminoue Shrine to snap some photos. Afterward, pick up your bags, drop them off in an airport coin locker, and head to Senagajima. It's gorgeous there and perfect for capturing stunning, Instagram-worthy shots. Once you're done, head back to the airport.

Opened in July 2022, this luxury beach resort is approximately 20 minutes from Naha Airport. It boasts Okinawa's largest selection of six pools, perfect for any occasion, and overlooks the beautiful white sands of Meijo Beach. An indoor pool, heated in winter for year-round enjoyment, and an all-season pool are both available! There's a kids' space near the pools for infants and preschoolers (though it's not very large). All 443 guest rooms offer sunset ocean views and balconies. The interiors blend traditional Ryukyuan culture with European flair, creating a luxurious atmosphere. The bathrooms were also very clean. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet here is incredibly luxurious, with a whopping 150 different items! Itoman Fish Market is an authentic local fish market in southern Okinawa where locals come to buy fish and seafood. Although it's not as large as the Tomari Port fish market, it has significantly fewer tourists, making it super comfortable to stroll around, and there are also more seats available. The seafood is incredibly fresh! Lobsters, green turban shells, sea urchins, and otoro (fatty tuna) are all freshly prepared and ready to eat. You can even pick out your fresh seafood and have the chef prepare it for you! The prices are an absolute steal, and considering the freshness, the value for money is off the charts! The market environment is overall clean with no fishy smell, and there are plenty of stalls to choose from, offering both raw and cooked options. Arrive before 10 AM for the most complete selection of seafood. After buying, you can eat right away at the adjacent standing dining area or find a seat to enjoy your meal. Topping off the seafood feast with a cup of Okinawa's iconic Blue Seal ice cream brings ultimate satisfaction! Transportation: About a 30-minute drive from Naha City (free parking available); if taking the bus, hop on Route 89 to the "Itoman Shijo-mae" stop, and it's just a 2-minute walk from there.

Danbo is a famous Hakata tonkotsu ramen chain originally from Fukuoka, with several branches across Okinawa. The Itoman branch, located at 1556-1 Ahagon, Itoman City, is highly accessible and features convenient parking right out front—perfect for those on a road trip.  This spot is renowned for its rich tonkotsu broth, simmered under high pressure for hours using pork bones and alkaline water. The result is a deeply aromatic yet non-greasy soup with a remarkably mild pork scent. You can choose between thin or thick noodles, and fully customize the broth richness, amount of green onions, and spice level to suit your palate. Their signature ramen comes topped with chashu, a soft-boiled egg, and nori. Getting a "kaedama" (noodle refill) is a great deal! They also offer original Okinawa-exclusive menu items, like the Chura Tomato Maze-men.  Open daily from 11:00 AM to midnight (sometimes later), year-round, with very budget-friendly prices (around 800-1,000 yen for a bowl of ramen). The interior is clean and well-lit, making it an excellent spot for dinner or a late-night snack. Loved by both locals and tourists, the Itoman branch is definitely worth a visit if you're craving authentic Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen!

Highly recommended for an adult trip to Okinawa, here are the highlights you should check out! 📷 Beach & Pool Having traveled to Okinawa multiple times, I was amazed by the perfectly designed resort-style pool area. The pool offers year-round access areas, seasonal options, spaces for adults to relax, and areas for kids to enjoy—it's great to have such variety. Beyond the pool, there's a private beach where you can watch planes taking off and landing at Naha Airport up close, creating a lovely atmosphere. While I no longer frolic in the sea as an adult, simply lounging on a chair made me feel blissful. Club Lounge If you're staying at Nashiro Beach, opting for lounge access is the best value. The food and drink selection is quite extensive, and the refined clientele makes it easy to relax (especially since the lounge is only accessible to guests aged 13 and above at night). The offerings were so plentiful that we didn't even need to go out for dinner. Room The Premier Club Twin room on the top floor was luxurious and elegant. The bathroom with a washing area was a nice touch. The spacious balcony offered great views of the pool and beach.✨ Breakfast If you book a plan with club lounge access, you can enjoy breakfast at the lounge, or you can opt to dine at the main dining area at half price. The dining area features a buffet with a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Okinawan dishes, making it hard not to overeat. The lounge breakfast is particularly unique, featuring 25 types of original bread, which has become a talking point. Room was spacious and very clean, all amenities available! Microwave though available somewhere near reception. Staff were very friendly:) There was a bus from the airport that goes to the hotel, very convenient! The best thing was the breakfast buffet! It was so big and had lots of variety, The quality of food was great! Indoor and outdoor pools were nice, one friday night they had a live musician show next to the pool. The beach was very close.
